Privacy policy

What we collect

When you create an account, book a trip or send us a message, we collect what you give us: your name, email address, phone number, country, travel preferences and the content of your conversations with our team. If you upload a profile photo, we store that too.

How we use it

• To operate your account, bookings, favourites and messages.
• To plan and confirm trips, permits and accommodation you request.
• To send transactional email such as account activation codes and booking updates.
• To send the newsletter only if you subscribed — unsubscribe is one click, always.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or move it outside the operational partners needed to deliver your trip (parks authorities for permits, lodges for reservations). Those partners receive the minimum needed — typically names and dates.

Storage and security

Your data lives in our booking system, protected by encrypted connections (HTTPS) and hashed passwords. Payment card details are never stored on our servers. You can update your profile or change your password at any time from your account settings.

Your choices

You may request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and its history by writing to hello@gopearl.com. We respond within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your profile, favourites and conversations; records of completed bookings are retained where the law requires.
